A cookie is a file that a site stores in your browser to remember something between visits. This site uses the bare minimum: no analytics, no advertising, no third-party cookies. Nobody is tracking you from here.
What exactly we store
- Language (
pll_language). Our own, technical cookie. It remembers which language you chose to read the site in, so you are not sent back to Spanish at every step. It lasts a year. It is a preference you set yourself, so the law does not require us to ask your permission for it. - Cookie notice. Not a cookie: when you press “Got it”, the page notes in your browser’s local storage that you have seen it, so it is not shown again. It never leaves your device and never reaches us.
- WordPress session. Only if you administer the site and sign in with a username and password. If you are a visitor, it is never set.
That is all. There is no Google Analytics, no social-network pixels and no “like” buttons telling anyone you came by. The fonts and icons are served from this same site, not from anyone else’s servers.
The map
The contact page carries an OpenStreetMap map that does not load until you press the button to see it. Until you press it, your browser does not connect to OpenStreetMap and they do not know you exist. If you do press it, their own privacy policy applies.
How to manage them yourself
Every browser lets you view, block and delete a site’s cookies from its privacy settings. If you block this site’s, you can carry on browsing normally; the only thing you lose is having your language remembered. Each browser’s help explains how: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
